Dr. Lydia Flaks
I was born and raised in Russia and graduated from St Petersburg Medical University in 2002. After graduation I continued my postgraduate training in the UK. I worked in East Anglia, Gloucestershire and Somerset before finally returning to Cheltenham as a fully qualified GP in 2010.
I hold membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and over the years obtained several diplomas from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG, DFSRH, LoC IUD/IUS, LoC SDI). I am planning to gain further knowledge and special qualification in menopause management over the next few years.
I also continue my NHS career as a locum GP and participate in annual appraisal and the GMC revalidation process.
I am married with two children and a dog. I love the outdoors, camping and painting.
